Swedish Relaxation Massage
Swedish Massage, the therapist will use kneading, vibration, tapping, and rolling actions to help create an intention of relaxation. This process is a more gentle approach to bodywork. Massage oils or lotions are often used to protect the skin from friction, leading to a refreshed and revitalized sense of well-being.
Therapeutic Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a useful treatment for chronic muscle tension that resides at the deeper levels of the body's muscular structure. This type of massage incorporates slow strokes, direct pressure, friction movements, trigger point therapy, NMT and specialty techniques that vary from therapist to therapist. You may find pain relief from stiff necks, shoulders, low back tightness, hip pain, etc. Other benefits may includes increased range of motion, proper muscle function, and overall increased mind-body well being.
Manual Lymphatic Massage Therapy
Manual Lymphatic Massage stimulates and increases the rate of removal of waste products, toxins and excess fluid from the body’s tissues. During a lymphatic massage, the therapist utilizes a specialized range of gentle rhythmic pumping techniques applied directly to the skin in the direction of the lymph flow, thereby stimulating the lymphatic vessels which are vital to the body’s defense and waste disposal system. This type of massage therapy allows the body to heal more quickly from injuries, trauma, and stress.
TUiNa Massage
TUiNA Massage is a special combination of ancient Chinese medical knowledge and modern massage techniques that provides balance and harmony. It is similar to acupuncture in that it targets specific acupoints, but is done with the therapist's fingers rather than needles. The goal of TUiNa is to create harmony in the yin and yang of the body by eliminating blockages, resulting in stress reduction, better circulation, and pain relief.
Myofascial Release Therapy
Myofascial release therapy is an effective massage technique for relieving pain and restoring mobility to the body’s fascia. This massage focuses on releasing tension in the tough fibrous tissues that support the muscles and improving flexibility. This technique can be incorporated into any therapeutic session.
Thai Massage Therapy
