Hand to Harmony

Saturday November 8; 10:30 am-12 pm

Cost: $35

Presented by: Deborah Somerville

Harmonizing and revitalizing your body's energy can begin with the hand! This workshop introduces you to an ancient art rediscovered by Master Jiro Murai of Japan in the early 1900s and brought to the United States in the 1950s, now taught and practiced worldwide, including through self-help workshops such as this one. After an introduction to the basic physio-philosophy of Jin Shin Jyutsu, participants will learn how each finger has a relationship to a color, attitude, and organ; how to practice various finger holds to alleviate corresponding symptoms (emotional and physical) ultimately, promoting relaxation and revitalization. The workshop will conclude with a meditation guided by mudras. Informational handouts will be included.

Deborah has been a certified Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner since 2001, offering self-help workshops and private sessions worldwide during her years as an international educator and yoga instructor (over 450 hours RYT). Her workshops combine vast knowledge with storytelling and guided practice for an uplifting and meaningful experience.
